We spent the night at the refuge for an early start: weather check, layers, alarm in the dark. In the morning, a frozen track across the glacier and the crunch of crampons. Breathe, step, pause, step.
The climb isn't technical. It's about focus and pace. The summit ridge is wide but exposed, and you feel exactly where the safe snow ends. Then the usual Alpine moment: a quick photo, a few seconds of silence, and back down the same way.&lt;/p&gt;</content>
